In this session we’ll drill down on the details associated with our latest release near the end of 2023 called Db2 11.5.9. This release of Db2 includes some great new high value capabilities including security enhancements, new containerization capabilities, HADR enhancements, pureScale enhancements and much more. Db2 11.5.9 is also the foundation for key cloud and warehouse solutions including Db2 Warehouse on Cloud Gen 3 and columnar enhancements.

With the introduction of Db2 V11.5, we have now finished with delivering new functionality on Db2 V11.1. Over the past few years we have some very significant feature paks, adding a wealth of new high value capabilities to Db2. This will include key BLU enhancements, pureScale enhancements, NoSQL enhancements, security enhancements and more. Many of these new capabilities form the base for new capabilities in Db2 V11.5. In 2019 we released a significant new release of Db2 and delivered a great deal of new capabilities including new logging options, enhancements to our columnar support, enhancements to pureScale, leveraging machine learning within our optimizer and much more.
